The most common question people ask when inquiring about our survey software is whether it's easy to learn and use. Here's my honest answer:
First, ignore all the sales hype at this Web site and all the others you visit. StatPac Inc. and our competitors are in the business of selling
survey software. We ALL say our software is easy to learn and use.
Here's the truth.
Without a doubt, StatPac is (or is one of) the most comprehensive and versatile survey software packages available. There are pluses and minuses to having a top-end power-house package. On the plus side, the features you want will almost always be available, and more often than not, StatPac will produce exactly the reports you're looking for. On the minus side, because of the huge number of options, there's a learning curve involved.
It will take an hour to read the tutorial. It will take another couple of hours to feel comfortable enough to begin your own survey. And it will take days to really master the software. I wish I could tell you that all you have to do is click a button and everything will be taken care of for you… but that's not the way StatPac works. You have to tell StatPac what you want it to do. It won't decide for you.
There's a time commitment involved in learning StatPac survey software, but the payoff will be big! StatPac's versatility will let you do any kind of a survey with any question format. You'll be able to perform any kind of sort, selection, or breakdown, regardless of its complexity.
