Instructions: Click on the above link and save the file (StatPac_11.exe) to a temporary folder on your local computer. After downloading, select Start, Run, and use the browse button to locate the file you downloaded (StatPac_11.exe), or use Windows Explorer and double click on "StatPac_11.exe". The installer will guide you though the rest of the process.

Instructions: Click the link above to open the User's Guide in your browser. If you prefer to save the User's Guide, right click on the link. If you have Internet Explorer select "Save Target As..." or if you have Netscape for Firefox select "Save Link Target As..." to save the User's Guide on your computer. Then you can open the file with MS Word.

There's a great tutorial on our web site that will help you get started using StatPac for Windows. It takes about an hour, but it's the stuff you really need to know and it's the fastest way to get up to speed with the software. If you're in a hurry, at least look at the pictures. The tutorial will also be placed on your desktop when you install the package.

Another good way to learn about StatPac is to examine the sample survey that will be installed in the "C:\StatPac\Data" folder. It will teach you much about the software. If you just want a quick look at some of StatPac's capabilities, click the Analysis button, open the Sample_Survey.pro procedure file, and click the Run button.
