The other part of a study design is a workspace. The left side of the screen shows the contents of the workspace. It's also blank since we haven't loaded anything yet. A wide variety of files can be viewed in the workspace area. For example, when creating a new codebook, you may want to copy and paste text from a MS Word document. You would load the document into the workspace area, and then you could copy and paste it to the codebook. The workspace may hold a data entry form, lists of e-mail addresses, or any text file. While there are many ways to design a new study, the easiest is to use the Grid. The Grid button is at the top right of the Study Design screen. |
